This programme gradually builds you up from running 5km to 10km in 10 weeks.

So it might be that you’ve completed the Couch to 5km programme and you’re looking to take your running to the next level. This programme gradually builds you up from running 5km to 10km in 10 weeks. There are a few considerations you will need to think about before starting on this course.

  • Can you run non-stop for 40 mins (on the flat)?
  • Are you running 3 times a week?
  • These are the two pre-requisites before starting on this course.   

The fundamentals of this programme is all based on learning to run chatty and building your confidence and stamina as a runner. We will build your base of non-stop running from 40 mins to 70 mins and you will be completing three runs a week. We will teach you how to listen much more to your own body, your breathing and how it adapts to running, helping you to understand when you need to walk and when it’s ok to run.
